We advocate for the use of Free and open source software on refurbined hardware for continued sustainability. We offer training and support for GNU/Linux and other easy to use software that meets the community's needs.
We are modeled after the original non-profit Free Geek of Portland, Oregon.
What We Do
- Refurbish and distribute donated computer hardware to the needy.
- Educate the community members how to use the computer. Seniors, Children, Busy People
- Install and support Free and Open source software.
- Provide Service opportunity to the community by training people to repair and support technology.
- Recycle anything we can't fix or use in an environmentally-responsible manner.
