Receiving HOWTO

When new donations come in:

1. Does the donor have a form? See: http://donatemycomputer.eventbrite.com/ If not, write down their information.
2. Verify that the list of donations matches what's there.
3. Reject any [prohibited items] and explain to the donor where these items can be taken.
4. Enter items into inventory. Currently we don't have an inventory database set up. At donation time we would like to have the following information:
   1. List of donated items
   2. Donor information (Name, tax id?)
5. Run DBAN (http://www.dban.org/) on all volumes, optionally run lshw (could be part of inventory process)
6. Label items with database ID or UUID
