Free Geek Seattle is a volunteer non-profit group focused on sustainable computing.

Founded in 2009, we model ourselves after the original Free Geek in Portland Oregon.

Here is what we do, in a nutshell...

  • Refurbish viable computers using Free software to distribute back into the community through our Volunteer and Grant program.
  • Recycle computer gear deemed non-viable in an environmentally-responsible manner.
  • Training how to work or play with computers (hardware/software) and the Internet.
  • Find out more about FGSEA
