Reset a Chromebook
Chromebooks are "special".
Here is how to reset one to factory defaults and wipe all the data.
Do this upon receiving the unit on return or as a donation.
1. Power on the device
2. Click Browse as guest in the lower bar
3. Click the (i) icon (lower right)
4. Click the Gear icon
5. Click About Chrome OS
6. Click Powerwash for added security >
7. Restart if prompted
8. Device reboots and a window is shown: Reset this Chrome device
9. Click [Powerwash] & [Continue]
