Two things about capacitors:

Caps can hurt you by shocking you, poking you, or exploding (they generally only explode under severe provocation.) Be careful.

If caps are swollen or visibly leaking, the part is toast unless you are an Elite Hardware Wizard who is prepared to desolder them, source new matching ones, and solder these in. So far as I know, we don't have any of these folks on board, and most of the time it's not going to be worth the effort to try. Remember, someone gave this hardware away.
