Since the default desktop on Ubuntu, Disjointity, (They call it Unity) is unfriendly and onerous, very few people recommend using Ubuntu.    We would rather use [[kubuntu]], and have used [[xubuntu]] and [[lubuntu]] with some people preferring [[Mint]]
