We currently have 2 ways to accept donate/recycle computers and gear...
Drop-off times are from Tues-Sat 10AM-6PM. You must schedule a specific day then can come in during those posted hours, except for holidays. You must use the link above to register BEFORE bringing any donations so that we 1) known that you're coming, have staff on hand to receive the donation, and 2) have accurate records of donations.

  • Networking gear: Wire(less) routers, switches, NIC cards, etc.
  • Media - DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs, CD-Rs, music CDs for testing optical drives, video DVDs for testing optical drives, Blu-Ray, etc
  • Hard drives - All types
  • Memory (RAM)
  • mice, trackballs, keyboards, especially USB type
  • power cables, power strips, extension cords
  • various computer cables... USB, Serial, Parallel, SCSI
  • interface adapters e.g. USB-to-Serial
  • small & medium sized screwdrivers

This includes types of equipment we currently have a non-recurring need for

  • 1 or 2 Shelves (sturdy)
  • Gorilla tape
  • Flashlights
  • Various plastic containers used for recycling raw materials:
    • 10 small (up to 1ft^3)
    • 6 med(1-5ft^3)
    • 3 large(6-10.

Lab gear

  • LCD Projector in working condition, to hold labs and training sessions
  • Video recorder to record sessions for future educational purposes

Safety Items (workshop safety is important)

  • Gloves - youth sized (we have plenty of adult sized)
  • Goggles - ditto
  • First aid kit

Consider that many of these items could be merely loaned to us instead of given over outright. Please do label your loaned items, indicating ownership, by using a label maker, sharpie, or dremel tool We cannot guarantee against items being stolen or lost however.
