To donate/recycle computers and gear, you may bring it to one of our monthly [[workshops]] which are held on the 2nd monday of each month in Seattle. At this time we are only able to take small lots (1-5 systems and parts), so if you have more than that or if you have any questions please email mailto:donate@freegeekseattle.org

Items in bold are in special need at this time.

  • Desktop computers
  • Laptops / Notebooks / Chromebooks (NO Apple products!)
  • Servers
  • Monitors LCD - working only, please! 22" or better
  • Peripherals: USB storage, SD cards, computer speakers
  • Networking gear: Wire(less) routers, switches, NIC cards, etc.
  • Media - DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs, CD-Rs, music CDs for testing optical drives, video DVDs for testing optical drives, Blu-Ray, etc
  • Hard drives - All types
  • Memory (RAM)
  • mice, trackballs, keyboards, especially USB type
  • power cables, power strips, extension cords
  • various computer cables... USB, Serial, Parallel, SCSI
  • interface adapters e.g. USB-to-Serial
  • small & medium sized screwdrivers
