Ideas[edit]

I have some great ideas about making an issue tracker that uses hashes in a forum, associated with the user who makes the hashes, and allowing people to edit other peoples posts to make them be correct, and show up for specific versions of the programs.

Vision[edit]

/Ideas I believe that there are many good computer recycling organizations like REPC, one on greenlake, another in freemont. Free Geek could work with these recyclers... Maybe we can work discounts, or similar, but we We need to focus on support and software. We can have volunteers be teachers aids. We can be a free software answer to the geeksquad. Empowering people to be able to use their software. We can provide user research to free software projects.

We can host computer labs at retirement communities, and schools. We can charge for these things. Our volunteering can provide service hours to people who need coaching in this area.

For behaviorally challenged people who are accepted as volunteers, they should be supervised in their endeavours. The supervisor may need to be paid, but will be very responsible for shaping good behavior and ending bad behavior patterns. The branding of this service needs to be clear that we are helping people reintegrate with the community.

Passwords and other sensitive customer information are a major part of customer service. Supervision adds an additional set of eyes that actually are a bit of extra exposure. Proper password managers are a good idea.

We must have policies of not allowing certain behaviors, and reactions to these behaviors that are restorative and provide natural consequences.

Don't have a 1-10 survey system that requires 10's to pass. Real data is important.
