I am a new Free Geek Seattle volunteer and will be assisting with various projects starting with:  (1.) responsibility for the front-end reporting (MediaWiki) for FGSea, (2.) STE(A)M education, (3.) helping at FCS Workshops, and (4.) publicity.  I expect to increase my role and contributions as I become more familiar with the organization and proficient in various software/hardware technical aspects.
I became a Board Member at the April 2014 Board Meeting and have begun participating more in the FCS Workshops and expansion plans to the new SoDo Makerspace. Additionally, I plan to actively vet and recruit new volunteers after having now become a little familiar with the local community. --September 2014
