We are meeting at the Broadview library meeting room on July 12th from 6-7:45pm. Bring your ideas and/or donations!

Breathe new life into that old computer

 What we'll cover:

• Re-Use:
• installation of a small footprint Linux OS such as Puppy and Xubuntu.
• Recycle:
  
• determining when to recycle vs. re-use
  
• a demonstration of how to disassemble a computer for ease of recycling

Video footage will be taken and posted afterwards for those who cannot attend.

Free Geek Seattle is officially official now. State Non-Profit and Department of Licensing Master Business Applications have been filed and approved. Next up, filing for IRS 501(c)(3) status......
